The leg spinner, Usman Qadir is out from Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad. Fakhar Zaman is now part of 15 men’s squad of the Pakistan Team.

Usman Qadir is now one of three traveling reserves – alongside Mohammad Haris and Shahnawaz Dahani. Usman Qadir failed to recover from a hairline fracture on his right thumb.

In a statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Qadir stated that he would not be available for selection until October 22, after which Pakistan can bring him back into their main squad as an injury replacement.

Qadir sustained the thumb injury while taking Alex Hales’ catch during the fourth T20I match against England in Karachi on September 25.

In London, Fakhar and Shaheen Shah Afridi were receiving medical attention for their knee injuries.

The two will join the World Cup team in Brisbane on Saturday and be available for Pakistan’s warm-up matches against England and Afghanistan on October 17 and 19, respectively.
