Pakistan15-men squad for the next ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 was revealed to the public. Shan Masood and Haider Ali returned to the side as Pakistan announced their 15 men’s squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
Shaheen Afridi returned to the team after being injured. He was not a part of the Asia Cup 2022 campaign.
The biggest exclusion is Fakhar Zaman (due to injury) and Shahnawaz Dahani. Both are not part of the main team but travels as a reserve.
Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, and Usman Qadir are the three specialist spinners.
Khushdil Shah and Iftikhar Ahmed will provide some assistance to the spin department if needed.
Babar Azam, Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shan Masood comprise the expected batting order.
Shadab Khan, Khushdil Shah, and Mohammad Nawaz will provide some support to the batting with their big-hitting ability.
Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Haris are the backup if someone faces injury from the batting department.
Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Wasim, Naseem Shah, and Shaheen Shah Afridi (who will lead the pace attack) are the five pacers in the squad.
Shahnawaz Dahani is a backup for the pace department.

Pakistan will host England for a seven-match T20I series in preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Before the world cup, a tri-series between New Zealand, Bangladesh, and Pakistan will be played in New Zealand.
