Pakistan defeated Afghanistan in a Super-4 match of Asia Cup 2022. Pakistan won by 1 wicket in a last-over thriller against Afghanistan. Naseem Shah hit 2 sixes to Fazalhaq Farooqi on consecutive deliveries and won it for Pakistan.
Now Pakistan qualified for the final of the Asia Cup 2022 and will play against Sri Lanka on Sunday. Both India and Afghanistan are now out of the tournament officially.
Shadab Khan got the man of the match award for his all-round performance. He played an important knock for the team and made 36 runs in 26 balls and took 1 wicket in the bowling.

Afghanistan got a flying start of 36 runs but Pakistan pacers got the openers. Then Pakistan’s bowlers came to the party and didn’t allow the batsmen to play freely.
Ibrahim Zadran made 35 runs but took 37 balls. Hazratullah Zazai also made 21 runs from 17 runs.
Haris Rauf was the pick of the bowler who took 2 wickets for 26 runs. All the other bowlers got one wicket each.
Pakistan got a shaky start when Babar Azam again failed and went for a golden duck. Fakhar Zaman also failed to make an impression as he was run out for 05(09).

After that Afghanistan’s bowlers came to the party and Pakistan lost wickets in cluster. Pakistan were 9 down for 118 runs when Naseem Shah hit two consecutive sixes in the last over and won it for Pakistan.
