Pakistan beat the Netherlands in the Last ODI and Completed the Clean Sweep

Pakistan beat the Netherlands in the Last ODI by 9 runs and Completed the Clean Sweep. Naseem Shah took five wickets and got player of the match because of his superb bowling performance.

Pakistan made four changes for the last ODI Match; bringing in Debutant Abdullah Shafique, wicketkeeper Mohammad Haris, leg spinner Zahid Mahmood, and fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani in place of Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, and Haris Rauf. Netherland also made two changes. Brings in Musa Ahmed and young leg spinner Shariz Ahmad for Wesley Barresi and Tim Pringle.

Pakistan Batting

Early on Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat. Pakistan’s start was very slow and made only 85/2 in the 1st half of the innings. Debutant Abdullah Shafique was bowled by Vivian Kingma with a superb delivery. Dutch wicketkeeper missed a stumping chance of Fakhar Zaman on Aryan Dutt’s bowling in the 14th over but did not cost too much. Zaman was bowled out by Logan van Beek in the 18th over. Fakhar took 43 balls to make 26 runs.

Man in form Salman Ali Agha finally got out in the 3rd ODI for 24 runs of 42 balls after making 27* and 50* in the first two ODIs. Shariz Ahmad was the bowler who got his first wicket. Khushdil Shah was promoted in the batting order but run out just for 2 runs. Young Mohammad Haris also failed to make any impact and was out for just 4 runs.

Babar Azam in Red Hot Form and made 3rd consecutive fifty on the tour. Azam’s start was very slow as he took 84 balls to complete his fifty. The no.1 ODI batsman made 91 runs in the innings. Babar was dropped by the wicketkeeper Scott Edwards on 20 runs. Although it was a very difficult chance. Aryan Dutt took a stunner on his own bowling to end the Babar’s sensational innings. Mohammad Nawaz made 27 from 35 balls and Mohammad Wasim only made 11 runs.

Pakistan team were all out just for 206 runs in the last over of the innings. Netherland bowled beautifully which was supported by their brilliant display of fielding. Bas de Leede pick up three wickets and Vivian Kingma took 2 wickets from the Netherland bowling unit.

Netherlands Batting

In reply, the Netherlands also lost its top order early. Naseem Shah bowled a beautiful opening spell and took two wickets and Mohammad Wasim took one wicket. After top-order failure, Vikramjit Singh and Tom Cooper construct a good partnership. Vikramjit Singh was out by Wasim after making 50 runs. Tom Cooper played a beautiful knock and was out after making 62 runs but could not finish the match. Netherland lost the match by just 9 runs. Naseem Shah took five wickets for 33 runs and Mohammad Wasim took four wickets for 36 runs.
