Indian Cricket – Ramesh Pawar to step down as India Women’s head coach.

Powar has had two stints with the women’s team, the most recent of which was mixed. After taking over in May 2021, he oversaw the team’s lead into the 2022 World Cup (50-overs), where they exited the group stage with three wins out of seven. More recently, though, the team edged Australia to silver at the Commonwealth Games before winning their first white-ball series in England, when they beat the hosts 3-0 in an ODI in September. . His final series with the team was a triumphant one, with India clinching their seventh Asia Cup title in October.
