Overview
In an eight-over match in Nagpur, Rohit Sharma hammered four fours and as many sixes in his unbeaten 20-ball 46 to help India defeat Australia’s 90 for 5.
With the victory, the series is now tied at one game each, with the decisive T20I scheduled for Hyderabad on Sunday.
Despite Axar Patel only surrendering 13 runs from his two overs, Aaron Finch’s 15-ball 31 and Matthew Wade’s unbroken 20-ball 43 helped the visitors post a respectable score.
However, India had the benefit of knowing the target. Rohit maintained his composure to lead his team to victory even though Adam Zampa’s quick-fire three wickets threatened to end their chase.
